General Information

The International Joint Undergraduate Program (UOLP), previously announced to the public as the "Dual Degree Program," began its educational activities in the 2012-2013 academic year by admitting 30 students to the Software Engineering Department (UOLP) of the Faculty of Technology. The courses in this program are conducted entirely in English.

The Software Engineering Department (UOLP) of the Faculty of Technology continues to admit students in every academic term. Students enrolled in this program undergo one year of preparatory English education, followed by two years of study at Fırat University. If they wish, they can specialize in the field of Digital Forensics at Sam Houston State University and receive a Digital Forensics Engineering diploma. Considering these advantages, we invite all prospective university students to choose the Software Engineering (UOLP) program.

The medium of instruction in the Software Engineering (UOLP) program is English. After completing the Foreign Language Preparatory Year, students study their first two years at the Software Engineering Department (UOLP) of the Faculty of Technology at Fırat University and the final two years at Sam Houston State University in Texas, USA. Upon graduation, they will earn diplomas from both universities, significantly enhancing the international recognition of their qualifications.

Students who choose the Software Engineering Department will graduate with dual diplomas from both universities upon completing their undergraduate program. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies either at Sam Houston State University or at any other university in the United States.
